Why do I want to take this trip? A little history might shed some light, my first experience with programming was with Turbo Pascal. I was in High School and Borland had just came out with a Turbo Pascal package for just $49 dollars. Considering that every other package was way above that, it had opened the door for amateurs like myself. That was many years ago, but I still remember the excitement of creating programs to do any thing I wanted.
Will I be able to get that excitement back? I don’t know, but I’m off to make the trip of my lifetime and I hope you join me.
